I am SO behind in blogging…largely in part to slow internet and grading…eek! Oh, and well…a week long adventure along the Garden Route might have also added to that J
As I mentioned in my last post, week 2 involved a visit to the Cape Town Castle, which was essentially a fort that was used as a strong hold in keeping the Cape territory. We spent 3 days of class on day-long excursions so most of my adventures were with the students and not with Chase, Leasa & Montgomery. So no “academics gone wild this week, it was more like “students gone wild” but what can you expect on a winery tour, right?! Friday we FINALLY toured Robben Island (had to rescheduled several times…), & this was definitely a good end the week.
